REC Limited has designated Mohan Lal Kumawat as Executive Director (Finance-Bonds), effective 9 April 2026. The move marks a Key Managerial Personnel appointment within the company and signals REC’s intent to strengthen its finance function and debt-management strategy.
Mohan Lal Kumawat is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and holds an MBA in Finance. He brings more than 30 years of post-qualification experience in organizational and financial planning, financial accounting and corporate governance.
The appointment places Kumawat at the helm of REC’s finance-bonds remit, underscoring the company’s emphasis on robust capital management and governance as it pursues its strategic growth agenda.
