Rahul Kale elevated to Chief Executive Officer – Automotive at Sansera Engineering

Sansera Engineering Limited has announced a leadership move aimed at sharpening its focus on the automotive business. The board has approved a change in designation for Rahul Kale from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer – Automotive, effective April 8, 2026. Kale will continue to report to Executive Director & Group CEO B. R. Preetham.

Kale, 49, brings more than two decades of experience in the auto-component sector, with stints at Gestamp, American Axles and the GKN Group. He joins Sansera from Gestamp India Pvt Ltd, where he served as Regional Operations Director, India, overseeing multiple plants. He holds a BE in Production from Pune University, is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed LEAN Business Excellence programs in London.

Industry observers see this internal elevation as a move to accelerate execution within Sansera’s automotive segment, leveraging Kale’s hands-on operations leadership and plant-wide experience. By aligning the executive suite more closely with the company’s automotive strategy, Sansera signals a continued emphasis on strengthening its manufacturing footprint and product cadence across its key auto components businesses.

The transition keeps Kale within the executive ranks and reporting line to Preetham, reinforcing leadership continuity as the company pursues its growth ambitions in a competitive market.
