Newgen Software Technologies Limited has appointed Kashish Daya Kapoor as Vice President – Human Resource Department, effective 1 April 2026. An accomplished HR strategist with more than 29 years in People & Organizational Development, Kapoor is known for leading digital HR transformation, global change programs, and high-impact employee engagement across multinational environments. In her most recent role as CHRO (VP) at NEC Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., she partnered with senior leadership and global stakeholders to shape talent, culture, and transformation agendas. Earlier stints include directing HR at Tata Communications, where she helped scale global HR practices and talent frameworks.
Her work extends to diversity, equity and inclusion, with a track record of championing unconscious bias and gender diversity. She has been a voice on industry platforms, contributing to ET panels and the World HRD Congress, and is a member of NASSCOM’s Diversity Steering Committee. An alumnus of Cornell University, with leadership tenure at IBM Global Process Services, Kapoor combines a global perspective on workforce strategy with practical experience in organizational design.
The appointment signals Newgen’s intent to deepen its leadership bench as it accelerates growth across its global footprint.
