Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited has announced a leadership transition, with four senior executives set to retire or resign, effective April 1, 2026. The changes touch key pockets of the organization—from technology and projects to material, security, and design—marking a notable moment of leadership turnover for the shipbuilder.
Bhubaneshwar Mishra, CGM Tech & Projects, will superannuate on March 31, 2026, and will cease to hold office from April 1, 2026. Sujoy Chakravorty, CGM (Material), is superannuating on March 31, 2026, and will likewise cease to hold office from April 1, 2026. Col Sanjay Anand, GM (Security, Fire & OL), is superannuating on March 31, 2026, and will cease to hold office from April 1, 2026. Cmde Rajiv Sreedharan IN (Retd), Chief General Manager (Design & PS-NWD), has resigned on personal grounds and thus ceases to be part of the Senior Management with effect from March 31, 2026.
The quartet’s exit paves the way for fresh leadership to step into these critical streams—Tech & Projects, Material, Security & OL, and Design.
