Nestlé India names internal successor to Head of IS/IT & Nestlé Business Excellence; Prateek Tripathi set to take over from Krishna Guha Roy

Nestlé India has signaled a strategic leadership reshuffle at the senior management level, detailing an internal succession plan for its Head – IS/ IT & Nestlé Business Excellence role. Krishna Guha Roy, who currently holds this position, will be stepping into a broader leadership role within the Nestlé group. She will be succeeded by Prateek Tripathi, who has been nominated to take over as Head – IS/ IT & Nestlé Business Excellence, effective 1 April 2026, subject to approvals.

Krishna Guha Roy has helmed IS/ IT and Nestlé Business Excellence in the Nestlé India portfolio, with the company outlining the move as part of its ongoing leadership development within the Nestlé group. The change underscores Nestlé India’s emphasis on sustaining strong IT governance and business-excellence initiatives as part of its digital and data strategy.

Prateek Tripathi brings a deep background in data governance and analytics to the role. Aged 45, he joined Nestlé in 2019 and has been serving as Data Governance Lead for the Zone AOA of the Nestlé group since February 2025. His career includes roles at GE, Citibank, Parle Agro, and Nielsen, with a 21-year track record in analytics, data integration, and governance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Math-Computer Science-Statistics from Osmania University and a PG Diploma in Business Management from the Goa Institute of Management. If approved, he will lead the IT function for the company, a pivotal move as Nestlé India continues to fortify its technology and analytics capabilities.
