Heranba Industries Limited has named Rajib Mukhopadhyay as Chief Financial Officer, with effect from January 1, 2027, after the board approved the move at its November 7, 2026 meeting. The appointment positions the finance leader to steer the company’s financial strategy as it advances its growth agenda, signalling a pivotal governance moment for the Ahmedabad-based agro-chemical player.
Mukhopadhyay brings more than two decades of leadership experience in finance across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, textiles, consulting, information technology and media. He is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and has completed an Advance Management Programme from Harvard Business School, equipping him with a blend of technical proficiency and strategic insight to partner with senior marketing and technology executives in driving rapid, sustainable outcomes.
Prior to his appointment at Heranba, Mukhopadhyay served as CFO at Sutlej Textiles and at Indofil Industries Limited, where he oversaw financial operations during periods of high growth and led efforts in fundraising, treasury, and financial restructuring. His track record of reorganizing accounting functions and strengthening governance aligns with Heranba’s push for disciplined expansion and operational scale.
Industry watchers say the move underscores Heranba’s emphasis on robust financial stewardship as it navigates concurrent growth initiatives. By bringing aboard a veteran with cross-industry traction and a hands-on approach to finance and strategy, the company signals its readiness to accelerate value creation for investors, employees, and partners alike.
