Zydus Lifesciences is reshaping its international markets leadership as it confirms the departure of Amrut Naik, who has resigned from the post of President and Business Unit Head, International Markets Business. Naik will be relieved from duties on November 7, 2026, leaving behind a leadership gap that the board intends to fill with immediacy as the company pursues its growth ambitions across key geographies.
In a move approved by the board on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the company has appointed Christoph Stoller as the new President and Business Unit Head for International Markets. Stoller will join the senior management team and commence his appointment on November 2, 2026, marking a formal transition in one of Zydus Lifesciences’ most important growth channels.
Stoller arrives with a track record spanning more than three decades in branded pharmaceuticals, specialty medicines, biologics, biosimilars, generics and innovative therapies across Europe, LATAM and APAC. His recent leadership roles include President & Business Head for EMEA, LATAM & APAC at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he led a large global team and drove revenue growth and profitability. He has also held senior posts at Teva Pharmaceuticals, and leadership roles at Helvepharm/Zur Rose Group, among others, and has contributed to strategic technology initiatives such as Glenmark’s AI steering efforts. These credentials position him to steer Zydus Lifesciences’ international expansion and product commercialization across diverse markets.
The transition underscores Zydus Lifesciences’ ongoing emphasis on strengthening its international footprint as it maneuvers through dynamic global markets. With Naik’s exit to be completed in early November and Stoller stepping into the role shortly thereafter, the company signals continuity at the top of its international unit while injecting global leadership experience to accelerate growth and execution on its strategic priorities.
