Radico Khaitan Elevates Finance Leadership With CFO on Board and Deputy CFO Appointment

Radico Khaitan Limited unveiled a leadership reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating its premium-led growth. The board approved the appointment of Dilip Kumar Banthiya, currently Chief Financial Officer, as an Additional Director in the category of Whole-time Director, designated as Executive Director and CFO, liable to retire by rotation, for a three-year term from October 28, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. At the same time, Saket Somani, Senior Vice President – Finance & Strategy, will be designated as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, effective October 28, 2026.

Banthiya brings more than three decades in corporate finance, M&A, international fundraising, treasury and risk management, and corporate restructurings. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has been associated with Radico Khaitan for over 18 years, leading the finance function, strengthening governance frameworks, and guiding financing across successive phases of the company’s growth.

Somani, a Chartered Accountant who joined Radico Khaitan in 2020, has around 20 years of experience spanning corporate finance, strategy, capital markets and investor relations. In his new role, he will oversee financial planning and control, working capital, and the evaluation of capital projects and new business opportunities, while also expanding his remit to strategy and technology-enabled transformation as the company pursues growth and global visibility.

The leadership move aligns with Radico Khaitan’s long-term strategy of premiumisation, global brand building and sustainable growth. By placing Banthiya on the Board as the Executive Director & CFO and elevating Somani to Deputy CFO, the company envisions a clearer split of responsibilities in finance and a stronger platform for capital allocation, investor engagement and digital initiatives as it scales its premium portfolio.
