Arihant Superstructures Limited said its board has approved the appointment of Pradeep Mehta as an Additional Director categorized as Non-Executive and Independent, for a term of five consecutive years starting October 23, 2026, subject to the approval of the company’s members.
A Chartered Accountant and IICA-certified Independent Director, Mehta brings over three decades of financial leadership and governance experience across listed companies, multinational groups and diverse industries. He is currently Group Chief Financial Officer at Sanghvi Movers Limited and has held senior finance roles at Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited, Saurashtra Cement Limited, and previously at Arihant Superstructures.
His areas of expertise span financial reporting, Audit Committee and Board matters, internal financial controls, enterprise risk management, treasury, capital allocation, regulatory compliance, investor relations and business transformation. His cross-sector experience and governance-focused approach could enhance board oversight, risk management and strategic decision-making at Arihant.
The company notes that Mr. Mehta is not related to any current director, and he is not debarred from holding office by SEBI or other authorities. The appointment is for a five-year term commencing October 23, 2026 to October 22, 2031 (both days inclusive) and shall not be liable to retire by rotation, pending shareholder approval.
