DIC India Limited has reappointed Adnan Wajhat Ahmad as an Independent Director, with effect from April 1, 2026, for a three-year term. The appointment was disclosed in connection with the company’s 78th Annual General Meeting held on March 23, 2026, conducted via two-way video conferencing.
Ahmad serves as Chairman of the Stakeholder Relationship Committee and the Risk Management Committee on the board and brings a long track record in the chemicals and manufacturing sector, including leadership roles with BP, ICI and Clariant. His career spans manufacturing, supply chain and business leadership, with active involvement in industry bodies such as the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Indian Chemical Council.
In addition, Hayato Kashiwagi was reappointed as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director for a second three-year term commencing from April 1, 2026. Kashiwagi is Regional Business Product Director for DIC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and has a 25-year tenure with DIC Corporation, holding directorships across the DIC group in the region, including roles in DIC Malaysia, DIC Philippines, DIC Vietnam, and DIC Lanka, among others.
Together, these moves underscore DIC India’s emphasis on governance continuity as it looks to sustain growth across its packaging and graphic solutions businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.
