Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited has announced the appointment of two independent directors to its board, signaling a strengthening of governance for the defense shipbuilder. The company informed the exchanges that Shri Dharminder Kumar and Shri Laishram Meenabanta Singh have been appointed as Part-time Non-Official Directors (Independent Directors) for a three-year term, or until further orders, with the effective date to be determined by the allotment of their Director Identification Numbers (DIN). The appointments come under the authority of a Ministry of Defence letter and the President of India’s formal appointment.
