Swelect Energy Systems Limited has announced the appointment of Pradeep Kumar Madhur as Chief Business Officer, a move that signals the company’s renewed focus on scaling its business footprint across the energy transition ecosystem. The appointment, effective 01 October 2026, places Madhur in a senior management role aimed at sharpening Swelect’s go-to-market strategy and accelerating growth in solar, storage, and grid integration solutions.
Madhur brings more than 17 years of experience across the energy and power infrastructure sectors in India and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, he served as Senior Director and Country Business Leader at Lerri Solar Technology (India) [Private Limited] (LONGi Solar), where he was responsible for the Indian business’s P&L, revenue generation exceeding USD 1 billion, and strategic governance. His leadership reportedly helped the Indian unit climb to a leading market position within roughly a year, while also overseeing regulatory and tax matters.
Before that, Madhur was part of the founding team of Sungrow India, contributing to the company’s early build-out in the Indian market and the deployment of more than 4 GW of solar inverters over three years. His earlier leadership roles at Raychem RPG and Crompton Greaves further grounded him in large-scale thermal power projects and high-voltage grid initiatives. His expertise spans cross-border subsidiary governance, joint venture structuring, P&L management, and regulatory risk management, with a focus on the energy transition—from solar PV to battery energy storage systems and grid integration.
Madhur holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an MBA in International Business from Sikkim Manipal University. His appointment is expected to bolster Swelect’s strategic execution as the company pursues expansion in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
