Tarsons Reappoints Sanjive Sehgal as Chairman and Managing Director, signaling continuity in leadership

Tarsons Products Limited has reiterated leadership continuity with the re-appointment of Sanjive Sehgal as Chairman and Managing Director at the company’s 43rd Annual General Meeting, held on September 24, 2026 via VC/OAVM. Sehgal, who was slated to retire by rotation, secured another term to steer Tarsons’ strategic agenda, underscoring the board’s confidence in his stewardship as the founder-colleague-driven leadership remains in place.

With more than four decades in the plastic labware and healthcare enablement space, Sehgal brings a deep track record in production, marketing and distribution of lab consumables and benchtop instruments. A B.Sc. graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, he has been at the helm of Tarsons’ growth trajectory, guiding operations and market expansion across the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research sectors.

The company notes that Sehgal’s continued tenure as Managing Director comes with a five-year term running from July 26, 2023 to July 25, 2028, with other terms and conditions tied to his employment agreement. The 43rd AGM also reflects the governance structure, where family ties within the leadership are noted—Sehgal is the father of Aryan Sehgal, Whole-Time Director of the Company—highlighting a closely held leadership profile that Tarsons has maintained over the years.

Taken together, Tarsons’ leadership move signals stability as it presses ahead with its ISO-certified production capabilities and a growing footprint in labware and related solutions. The reappointment reinforces a narrative of continuity at the top, with Sehgal’s long industry background positioned to steer continued execution across Tarsons’ product portfolio and regional ambitions.
