Gopal Snacks Extends Bipinbhai Hadvani’s Tenure as Chairman and Managing Director

Gopal Snacks Limited has moved to lock in leadership continuity, as shareholders at the 17th Annual General Meeting approved the re-appointment of Bipinbhai Vithalbhai Hadvani as Chairman and Managing Director for a further five-year term from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031. The decision signals a steady hand at the helm as the ethnic snacks specialist looks to expand its footprint beyond its established base.

Hadvani, the founder of Gopal Snacks, has steered the company to become India’s largest gathiya manufacturer, backed by a network that now spans 13 states with more than 1,000 distributors and over five lakh retailers. With more than three decades in the food industry, his leadership emphasizes quality, affordability, and accessibility—a combination the company has relied on to drive growth and brand loyalty across diverse markets.

The leadership profile is complemented by familial ties within the governance framework: Hadvani is married to Dakshaben Hadvani, Executive Director, and is the father of Raj Bipinbhai Hadvani, Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer. The arrangement underscores a founder-led trajectory that blends deep product know-how with a long-term strategic vision for scale and reach.

As the company reiterates its confidence in Hadvani’s stewardship, it also notes that he has not been debarred or disqualified from holding office by SEBI or any other authority, reinforcing a narrative of stable, accountable leadership at a time when consumer snacking markets remain highly competitive and fast-evolving.
