3i Infotech Limited is shaking up its leadership bench from within, signaling a sharpened focus on people and delivery as the company appoints and re-designates senior executives to Senior Management Personnel (SMP) status. In a move recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and announced at the board meeting on September 3, 2026, Ms. Shavee Sehajpal has been designated as SMP while continuing as Chief Human Resources Officer, and Mr. Manish Falwaria has been designated as SMP, holding the role of Business Head – BPS. At the same time, Mrs. Shilpa Pai, who previously served as Senior Vice President – HR, has been re-designated as SMP and will continue leading APAC & HCM India with immediate effect. The changes underscore the company’s emphasis on strengthening its leadership in HR and BPS operations as it pursues growth and transformation initiatives.
Shavee Sehajpal brings a deep reservoir of HR leadership spanning 24 years across technology, IT-enabled services, analytics, manufacturing, logistics and global delivery. Her track record includes serving as HR Head, India at NTT DATA, where she led the people agenda for a 4,000-strong technology business and harmonized HR operations across multiple entities. Her leadership journey spans roles at Algonomy, Honeywell, Maersk Global Service Centres, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services, accompanied by an MBA in Human Resources. In her SMP role, she is expected to shape workforce strategy, talent development and people-first transformations as the company scales.
Manish Falwaria is a veteran Business Process Services executive with more than two decades of experience steering large-scale operations, business transformation and growth across BFSI, telecom and service-led industries. His strengths in end-to-end BPO operations, delivery scaling, transitions, client relationships and digital optimization position him to drive operational performance and customer outcomes for 3i Infotech’s BPS portfolio. He holds an MBA in Finance and has built a career around P&L leadership, strategic growth and service excellence.
Shilpa Pai’s re-designation as SMP to lead APAC & HCM India reaffirms the company’s commitment to strengthening regional leadership in Asia Pacific and human capital management. With a background that includes HR leadership at the senior levels, her continued focus on people strategy and region-specific execution is positioned to align workforce capabilities with 3i Infotech’s growth ambitions across markets.
