In a board decision dated March 18, 2026, Ramya Mohan and Vinit Mahadevan were appointed as Additional Directors and Whole-time Directors for a three-year term, from March 18, 2026, to March 17, 2029, subject to the approval of members at the upcoming 76th AGM. Ramya Mohan, currently Huhtamaki’s General Counsel and VP APAC, brings more than 27 years of experience spanning domestic and cross-border M&A, corporate strategy and restructuring, and governance programs. Her background includes leadership stints with law firms and a decade-long tenure with Mondelez prior to her current role at Huhtamaki, where she has been a key advocate for compliance and governance practices. Her appointment solidifies the linkage between legal oversight and strategic direction at the top echelons of the company.
Vinit Mahadevan, presently Vice President – Special Projects at Huhtamaki, is described as a seasoned global management executive with wide exposure to corporate strategy, M&A and enterprise transformation across diverse industries and geographies. His career includes senior roles at Diageo, WNS, Accenture, Britannia Industries and Citigroup, complemented by an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and leadership training at INSEAD. The company views his broad strategic experience as a valuable complement to Huhtamaki India’s growth ambitions.
Together, the appointments reflect Huhtamaki India’s strategy to deepen leadership depth from within, aligning governance, strategy and execution. As the company prepares for the AGM in May 2026, observers will watch how these executives shape the next phase of Huhtamaki India’s journey, reinforcing a governance framework that blends legal rigor with transformative business strategy.
