Godrej Agrovet Limited has tapped Anushree Singh to lead its human resources agenda, appointing her as Chief Human Resources Officer with effect from September 7, 2026. The board approved the appointment today, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Ms. Singh will take over the HR baton from Mallika Mutreja, who ceases to be Head – Human Resources at the close of business on August 6, 2026.
Ms. Singh brings more than two decades of global HR leadership, spanning people strategy, organizational transformation, culture building, M&A integration, and leadership development across multiple geographies. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at JSW Energy, where she designed the people framework behind the company’s Plan 30 by 30 ambition. Under her watch, the workforce expanded from about 2,000 to 6,000 employees in two years, and she led the development of an integration playbook, HR governance enhancements, onboarding systems, and leadership capability across four business verticals.
Her career also includes senior HR roles at Avery Dennison, AkzoNobel, and the Aditya Birla Group, with experience across India, Europe, North America, and global corporate functions. Across these posts, she has steered large-scale culture transformations, HR digital initiatives, organizational design, and diversity and inclusion programs, working closely with senior leadership to build high-performance organizations. Ms. Singh holds a PGDM from IIPM and a Bachelor’s (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University, and is SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
Godrej Agrovet’s leadership transition underscores the company’s emphasis on strengthening its people strategy and governance as it accelerates growth across its diversified agri-business portfolio.
