Zydus Wellness Limited has named Kapil Sharma as Chief Revenue Officer for India and the Indian subcontinent, a move that the board has approved as part of its senior management team with effect from September 1, 2026. The appointment, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, signals the company’s intent to sharpen its revenue growth engine across key markets in the region.
Kapil Sharma brings more than 28 years of sales and commercial leadership to Zydus Wellness, including 25 years with Procter & Gamble. In his most recent role at P&G, he served as VP-Gillette for India and the Indian subcontinent, overseeing the Grooming portfolio and guiding extensive work across sales, trade marketing, direct-to-consumer initiatives, market strategy, regional leadership, and digital commerce. He led P&G’s global digital commerce strategy from the United States and steered retail transformation and e-commerce growth, along with profitability turnarounds in India and Asia. Earlier in his career, he spent three years with Asea Brown Boveri.
Sharma holds an MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow. His track record in leading high-growth revenue initiatives and his deep experience in digital commerce and modern retail could provide a strong boost to Zydus Wellness’s growth agenda in a competitive Indian market.
As Zydus Wellness looks to deepen its footprint in India and the broader subcontinent, Sharma’s appointment is positioned as a strategic step to align commercial leadership with the company’s growth ambitions. Industry watchers will be watching to see how this seasoned veteran’s expertise translates into accelerated revenue momentum for the consumer wellness house.
