Refex Industries Announces Anil S Kulkarni as Chief Business Officer for RMC and Prasad Jakkaraju as VP/Head ESG

Refex Industries Limited has elevated its leadership bench with two senior management appointments aimed at sharpening growth and sustainability in its building materials portfolio. Anil S Kulkarni has been appointed Chief Business Officer for the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Division, with responsibility spanning ash and coal handling within the RMC unit. The Board approved the designation following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, effective August 22, 2026. Kulkarni brings nearly three decades of experience in the concrete and construction materials space, underpinned by a Civil Engineering background and an MBA in Marketing, positioning him to steer value creation, profitability, and market expansion for Refex’s RMC operations.

Parallel to this, Refex appointed Prasad Jakkaraju as Vice President / Head – ESG, overseeing ESG and EHS at the company. With more than 22 years in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and risk management across manufacturing sectors, Jakkaraju’s mandate centers on embedding sustainability into Refex’s corporate strategy and operations. He holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and holds professional certifications related to sustainability, energy management, greenhouse gas emissions, and ISO management systems, signaling the company’s commitment to rigorous ESG performance.

Together, the moves signal Refex Industries’ intent to fortify its strategic growth engine in the RMC division while anchoring its environmental, social, and governance priorities at the core of its operations.
