Justice (Retd.) Sanjay Kishan Kaul arrives on the board with a distinguished legal career that spans adjudicatory leadership and policy reform. A veteran of the Supreme Court where he served as a Judge, Kaul has also helmed the High Courts of Delhi, Punjab & Haryana, and Tamil Nadu (Madras), including acting chief justice roles. His leadership at National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) reflects a track record in leveraging law for access to justice and dispute resolution—expertise that could inform DCM Shriram’s governance and risk management frameworks.
Ms. Rumjhum Chatterjee brings a different strand of public-minded leadership to the table. A psychology graduate and co-founder of the Infravision Foundation, she has helped shape policy and infrastructure discourse through think tanks and advisory roles, including with Feedback Infra Group. Her work through the Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust and her long-standing involvement with CSR and women’s empowerment initiatives position her to contribute to the company’s CSR strategy, governance of social impact, and stakeholder engagement. Together, the two appointees broaden the board’s perspectives on governance, policy, and community development.
