Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited unveiled a leadership transition in its human resources function, naming Robin Thadathil as the new Head of Human Resources, effective April 1, 2026, as the current HR head, Srinivas Maruthi Patnam, steps away on March 31, 2026.
Robin Thadathil brings more than 16 years of HR leadership within P&G across geographies including Singapore, the United States and Southeast Asia. In his recent assignment, he led HR for Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam and served as Regional HR leader for Olay and as HR head for the Singapore office. Since joining P&G in 2010, he has cultivated a leadership style that blends strategic thinking with deep empathy to build inclusive workplaces and sustain growth. He holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Business Studies.
Patnam’s departure marks a notable moment for the company’s talent strategy, underscoring the importance of strong HR leadership as P&G Hygiene and Health Care continues to navigate growth across markets. The internal move signals continuity within the company’s people-centric approach, even as it bids farewell to a long-tenured HR leader.
Industry observers will be watching how the new HR head translates P&G’s people-first philosophy into strategy and culture across the organization, especially in how it supports innovation, operations, and market expansion in a dynamic consumer landscape.
