Ravindra Energy Limited announced that its Board, in a meeting on August 14, 2026, approved the re-appointment of Shantanu Lath as the Whole-Time Director designated as Chief Executive Officer for a fresh three-year term, with effect from August 11, 2026. The appointment will be subject to the shareholders’ approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, underscoring leadership continuity for the energy-focused group.
Shantanu Lath, a Bachelor of Commerce and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, has been associated with the Ravindra Energy group since 2012 in various capacities and has been serving as Chief Executive Officer since September 1, 2019. Before joining Ravindra Energy, he held the position of President Director (CEO) at PT. Renuka Coalindo TBK, a step-down subsidiary of Ravindra Energy Limited, for over seven years.
The board’s decision follows a recommendation from Ravindra Energy’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The company notes that Lath is not related to any of the directors or key managerial personnel. This move signals a continued focus on strategic leadership as the company navigates its growth path in the evolving energy sector.
As Ravindra Energy presses ahead, the re-appointment of its Chief Executive Officer highlights a bid for steady stewardship and strategic direction from the top, contingent on the shareholders’ nod at the AGM.
