Praj Industries has announced the re-appointment of Ms. Rujuta Prakash Jagtap as an Independent Director for a fresh three-year term, effective from 21 August 2026 to 20 August 2029. The appointment was approved by shareholders through a Special Resolution, extending her tenure on the board. The company confirms that she is not debarred from holding the office of director by any order from SEBI or any other authority.
Rujuta Jagtap brings more than two decades of cross-functional experience in management, administration and marketing. A holder of an MBA in International Business from Symbiosis (2002), she is currently an Executive Director on the Board of Saj Test Plant Pvt. Ltd. and serves on the board of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) since 2018. Her professional journey includes leadership roles at Tata Steel Ltd. and Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank, and she has been recognized as the first woman Chairperson of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce, as well as Chairperson of the British Business Group. Jagtap is also involved with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) as a member and a judge in their business plan competitions, a joint initiative with Praj.
