Ganesh Consumer Products Limited has named two new directors to its board in a move that underscores its focus on governance and growth. Rajiv Nitin Mehta will join as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent) with effect from March 16, 2026, for a five-year term, subject to shareholders’ approval. The company also appointed Devansh Mimani as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non-Independent) liable to retire by rotation, with effect from the same date, again subject to shareholder approval.
Mehta brings over two decades in consumer brands and retail, with a master’s in chemical engineering and an MBA from INSEAD. He steered Puma South Asia as Managing Director, expanding the footprint to more than 320 stores, and later led Arvind Sports Ltd and Arvind Fashion Brands Ltd as Chief Executive, launching premium brands with celebrities. He has also been active as an angel investor since 2011, mentoring early-stage ventures.
Mimani heads marketing and digital initiatives, driving business development, product innovation, and expanding categories across new geographies. He holds a bachelor’s in Business and Economics from Brandeis University and is seen as part of the company’s next-generation leadership.
The company confirms that both appointees have not been debarred from holding director positions by SEBI or other authorities. These appointments, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, reinforce Ganesh Consumer Products Limited’s governance and strategic oversight as it continues to pursue growth and expansion.
