IFGL Refractories Limited announced, on the recommendation of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the appointment of Mukesh Harshadrai Rawal as a Whole-time Director of the company and Chief Executive Officer India for a term of three years, from 16 August 2026 to 15 August 2029, subject to the necessary approvals including shareholders’ consent and central government clearance. The move aligns with the company’s governance framework and strategic objectives as it looks to sharpen leadership at the helm of its India operations.
Rawal brings a deep-rooted background in refractories and the iron and steel sectors, having been with the IFGL Group since 1983. Presently, he serves as President of Mono Ceramics Inc, the group’s material subsidiary in the United States, and Head – Americas. He will cease to hold these offices from the close of 15 August 2026, ahead of taking up his new role in India.
The appointment underscores a deliberate succession in leadership, with the Nomination and Remuneration Committee signaling continuity and cross-border experience as assets for the company’s growth trajectory.
