Crizac reshuffles senior management to sharpen technology and product focus

Crizac Limited unveiled a leadership reshuffle designed to sharpen its technology, product and innovation focus. In a board decision announced after a meeting on August 3, 2026, the company redefined its senior management lineup, marking a shift in responsibility at the top tech and product layers while preserving continuity for its leadership team. The changes reflect Crizac’s intent to align its internal structure with an increasingly AI-driven product strategy and global education initiatives.

Sibendu Roy ceases to hold the position of Chief Technology Officer and to be designated as a Senior Management Personnel, effective August 2, 2026, though he will continue with the company in a different employee capacity. He is succeeded as CTO by Rituparno Sarkar, appointed with effect from August 3, 2026, and designated as Senior Management Personnel alongside his new role. The transition underscores Crizac’s emphasis on technology leadership as a core driver for scalable growth and product excellence.

On the marketing side, Salaria Zaheer ceases to be Chief Marketing Officer and SMP as part of the revised organizational structure, while remaining an employee of the firm. In parallel, Nikhil Jain has been appointed as Chief Product and Marketing Officer and elevated to Senior Management Personnel, effective August 3, 2026. Jain brings an entrepreneurial pedigree and a track record in product-led marketing and AI-enabled education solutions. Dishant Kharbanda steps into the role of Chief Innovation Officer and SMP, further strengthening Crizac’s emphasis on innovative education technology strategies. He comes with more than two decades of experience in higher education mobility and edtech.

Anindita Das will continue as Chief Business Officer, but the revised internal reporting structure means the role will no longer fall within the definition of Senior Management Personnel. She will remain an employee of the company. Crizac noted that there is no cessation of employment for Sibendu Roy, Salaria Zaheer or Anindita Das, who will continue serving Crizac in their respective capacities.

Overall, the changes position Crizac to pursue a more integrated technology-product-management approach, with leadership aligned to the company’s longer-term growth and AI-enabled education offerings.
