Whirlpool of India Limited has announced an internal reshuffle in its senior finance leadership, effective 27 July 2026, signaling a sharpened focus on integrating planning with commercial strategy. The board, upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved two senior moves in the finance function: Abhish Jain will be appointed Head – Financial Planning and Analysis, and Charu Aggarwal, currently Head – Financial Planning and Analysis, will take on the newly defined role of Head – Commercial Finance, both reporting to Aditya Jain, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer.
Abhish Jain brings about a dozen years of diverse experience in finance, spanning commercial finance, FP&A, and manufacturing finance. He joined Whirlpool in 2014 and has led initiatives in forecasting automation, cash-flow management, and predictive modeling, along with FP&A governance. His prior stint was with Whirlpool Corporation, US, underscoring a continuum of experience within the Whirlpool ecosystem.
Charu Aggarwal’s transition from Head – Financial Planning and Analysis to Head – Commercial Finance positions the company to fuse rigorous financial planning with its commercial engine. While continuing to report to the CFO, Aggarwal’s expanded remit signals Whirlpool India’s intent to align financial insights more closely with market and go-to-market decisions, reinforcing a unified finance-and-commercial leadership cadence.
Together, the moves reflect Whirlpool India’s emphasis on bench strength and internal mobility, reinforcing continuity in leadership as the company navigates a dynamic consumer appliance landscape.
