In a meeting dated 24 July 2026, the company disclosed changes to its directorate: three independent directors are set for a second term, and an additional non-executive independent director will join the board for a three-year period, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
Sanjiv Paul is reappointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director for a second three-year term, effective 26 October 2026 to 25 October 2029, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Paul’s background includes notable leadership roles at Tata Steel as a former Vice President and as Managing Director at Tata Metaliks, underscoring the depth of governance experience he brings to Kross’s board.
Gurvinder Singh Ahuja is also reappointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director for a new three-year term (26 October 2026 to 25 October 2029), again subject to shareholder consent. A Chartered Accountant by training, Ahuja previously served as Plant Finance Head at Tata Motors Limited (Jamshedpur & Pune) and held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Tata Motors Drivelines, reflecting a financial stewardship pedigree on the board.
Deepa Verma completes the trio of reappointments as an Independent Non-Executive Director for a second term (26 October 2026 to 25 October 2029), following the Nomination and Remuneration Committee’s recommendation. Verma’s prior role as Chief Human Resource Business Partner at Tata Steel brings a strategic HR perspective to Kross’s governance framework.
Rounding out the changes, Sharat Chandra Kumar has been appointed as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent) for three consecutive years, from 24 July 2026 to 23 July 2029, based on committee recommendations and pending shareholder approval at the AGM. Kumar, an electrical engineer from BIT Mesra, brings more than three decades of leadership experience at Tata Steel across maintenance, project execution, design, and strategic sourcing, including major capacity-expansion initiatives. This move reinforces Kross’s emphasis on independent oversight and governance readiness as it eyes the next phase of growth.
