Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation Limited disclosed that the second five-year term of Independent Director A. K. Kothari will end on 24 July 2026, and he will cease to be an Independent Director from 25 July 2026. The tenure for this role was approved at the company’s 74th Annual General Meeting to run from 25 July 2021 to 24 July 2026.
Consequent to the completion of his tenure, Kothari’s membership and chairmanship in the board’s committees will also cease. This marks a routine refresh in the company’s governance as it transitions beyond the current term of its Independent Director.
