Centrum Capital Limited is reshaping its board with two high-profile appointments. The board, via circular resolution on July 16, 2026, approved the appointment of Sandip Ghose as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Independent Director, to hold office for five consecutive years subject to shareholders’ approval. In a parallel move, Centrum appointed Manmohan Shetty as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, to hold office from August 5, 2026, also subject to shareholder approval.
Sandip Ghose brings a regulatory and financial services pedigree to Centrum’s board. He holds a Master’s in History and is an alumnus of UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and Columbia Business School. He previously served as Director of the National Institute of Securities Markets, SEBI’s staff college, and before that headed Human Resources at the Reserve Bank of India, where he advised three RBI Governors. His career has been marked by a blend of regulatory insight and senior financial-sector leadership, including recognition such as an honorary doctorate from EIILM University.
Manmohan Shetty’s appointment adds an entertainment industry veteran to Centrum’s governance mix. The founder of Adlabs Films Limited and Adlabs Entertainment Limited (Imagicaa) has produced numerous films and built major media ventures, including India’s largest film processing laboratory and one of the country’s prominent theme parks. He has held leadership roles across media and entertainment organizations and has been involved with several industry bodies and initiatives that have shaped India’s entertainment landscape.
Both appointments reflect Centrum Capital’s emphasis on governance depth and sectoral experience. The company notes that the new directors are not related to existing board members and are not debarred by regulatory authorities. These moves, while subject to shareholder approvals, position Centrum to navigate a maturing financial services landscape with enhanced oversight and diverse perspectives.
