Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has tapped Suyash Trivedi to steer its civil portfolio as Executive Director (Civil), Kolkata, with effect from 13 July 2026. The leadership move places Trivedi in RVNL’s senior management fold, signaling a continued emphasis on strengthening the execution engine behind India’s rail infrastructure push.
Trivedi brings nearly three decades of executive leadership in civil engineering and infrastructure, having served in Group A services and held senior roles across premier public-sector bodies. His career has encompassed stints at Engineers India Limited, the Military Engineer Services, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, and Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, underscoring a depth of experience in large-scale project delivery and urban rail solutions.
In a period of aggressive network expansion and modernization, RVNL’s appointment of a seasoned civil-leadership professional aligns with the company’s mandate to accelerate project execution and deliver complex civil works across its portfolio. As noted in the appointment documentation, Trivedi will be regarded as part of the Senior Management Personnel from the effective date, with a term that extends until superannuation.
