Avantel Limited is reshaping its leadership lineup as it expands its governance and strategic execution. In a board meeting held on July 11, 2026, the company announced the re-appointment of Abburi Siddhartha Sagar as Executive Director (Strategy & Business Development) for a five-year term from March 8, 2027 to March 7, 2032, subject to member approval by postal ballot. Siddhartha Sagar, who brings over 15 years of experience in technology-driven strategy and development, will continue to steer Avantel’s strategic initiatives, market expansion, production and IT infrastructure.
The board also approved the appointment of Peddi Bala Bhaskar Rao as an Additional Director designated as Director (Operations) for a three-year term from July 11, 2026 to July 10, 2029, subject to member approval. Rao currently serves as Vice President – Marketing & Customer Support at Avantel Limited and leads the company’s human resources, marketing, quality assurance, materials management and customer support functions, underscoring a strengthened emphasis on cross-functional operational execution.
In another move, the board re-appointed Vyasabhattu Ramchander as an Independent Director for a second consecutive five-year term from May 6, 2027 to May 5, 2032, subject to member approval via a special resolution. Ramchander, who sits on multiple committees and brings decades of finance and governance experience, will continue to contribute to Avantel’s oversight and strategic direction without retirement by rotation.
The company also disclosed a reconstitution of key board committees with immediate effect. The Audit Committee will be chaired by Ramchander; the Nomination and Remuneration Committee will be chaired by Harita Vasireddi, with Ramchander, Ajit Tavanappa Kalghatgi and K Tamilmani as members; and the Stakeholders Relationship Committee will be chaired by MLN Acharyulu, with Abburi Siddhartha Sagar and Harita Vasireddi as members. These shifts underscore Avantel’s focus on strengthened governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement as it scales its operations and strategy.
