Welspun Enterprises Limited has announced a strategic leadership realignment aimed at accelerating its independent verticals, with immediate effect. The board, on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, has approved changes that see Sandeep Garg, the company’s Managing Director, take on interim leadership of the Water vertical operations as part of the broader organizational realignment. The move signals a heightened emphasis on building scalable, geography-agnostic capabilities within the Water vertical as the company pursues multi-geography EPC opportunities.
In tandem with this shift, Saurin Patel, who has been Head – Integrated Water Vertical and Managing Director of Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), will continue as the Managing Director of WMEL. He will focus on strengthening WMEL as a product and technology-led water solutions company, reinforcing the subsidiary’s role in the group’s water strategy and its expansion beyond its current footprint.
The changes include the acceptance of Hardik Dhebar’s resignation as Head of Finance & Investor Relations and Chief Financial Officer of WMEL, effective from July 8, 2026, with his relief from services to occur by the close of business on August 14, 2026. The company has enclosed his resignation letter with the disclosure. The moves come as Welspun Enterprises realigns leadership to fortify its independent business verticals and push for accelerated growth in its Water vertical and WMEL’s product-led approach to water solutions.
