Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has elevated M S Madhu Sundar to Global Head of Quality and PV and inducted him as a Member of the Management Council, with effect from April 1, 2026. Sundar, who currently heads Global Manufacturing FTO Oral Solid Dosages (OSD) & Operational Excellence (OE), will now oversee global quality and pharmacovigilance across the group’s operations, reinforcing the company’s focus on manufacturing discipline and regulatory readiness at scale.
In a broader leadership reshuffle, the company also announced role changes for other senior executives: M V Ramana will assume the role of CEO Global Generics; Sanjay Sharma will become Chief Operating Officer; Krishna Venkatesh will take on the position of Global Head of IPDO, Integrated Product Development; and Patrick Aghanian will lead as Head – Consumer Health Organization. All moves are effective from April 1, 2026.
Observers note that the changes reflect a deliberate alignment of manufacturing, quality, product development, and go-to-market functions as Dr. Reddy’s eyes deeper global expansion. By placing a seasoned operations and quality executive at the helm of quality and PV, alongside a retooled executive team for generics, IP development, and consumer health, the company signals a continuing commitment to delivering reliable product quality and a cohesive development-to-market strategy across geographies.
