Karur Vysya Bank has announced that Ravinder Aggarwal has assumed the role of General Manager and Head of the Corporate & Institutional Group (CIG), effective 1 July 2026. The appointment signals the bank’s renewed focus on strengthening its large corporate and institutional franchise as it charts its growth trajectory.
Aggarwal is a career banker who spent his career at Bank of Baroda, where he last served as General Manager – Large Corporate Banking (Underwriting). He superannuated from Baroda on 30 April 2026 and brings a track record of leadership in the bank’s Large Corporate Banking, NBFCs, ARCs, and DFIs spaces.
During his career, he has held senior leadership roles across Large Corporate Banking, NBFCs, Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), positioning him to lead the bank’s Corporate & Institutional Group with a wealth of cross-sector exposure.
The appointment is for a period of three years from the date of taking charge (01 July 2026), reflecting the strategic emphasis on strengthening corporate relationships and institutional business as Karur Vysya Bank advances its growth agenda.
