Praxis Home Retail Reappoints Anou Singhvi as Independent Director for Second Term

Praxis Home Retail Limited has announced a leadership move that underscores continuity on its board. The company’s Board, via circular resolution and based on a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the re-appointment of Anou Singhvi as an Additional Independent Director for a second one-year term, from June 30, 2026 to June 29, 2027. The move is subject to the approval of the shareholders, aligning with standard governance practice for independent board oversight.

Anou Singhvi brings a distinctive blend of design, heritage and entrepreneurship to Praxis. She studied interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York and holds a BFA in Applied Arts from the University of Rajasthan. Singhvi leads the family-owned heritage luxury brand P. C. Lunia – Purveyors of Precious Objects D’Art, and hails from a 9th-generation Jaipur jewellers lineage. Her creative portfolio spans visual and performing arts, with works showcased at national venues and pieces featured in prominent homes and government buildings in India and the Middle East. She also maintains a fashion line of hand-block printed and hand-embroidered apparel that is sold in hi-end designer stores in India, and has contributed to MARWAR Magazine.

Beyond design and commerce, Singhvi is a founding member of the NGO Srishti Art and Craft Society, focusing on empowering artists and craftspeople from second-tier Indian cities. She has written on spirituality, art and the cultural heritage of India’s arts and crafts, with publications in outlets such as the Times of India and Gems and Jewellery Magazine. Her re-appointment signals Praxis’s interest in governance that embraces creative insight, cultural continuity, and a global perspective as the company navigates the evolving home-retail landscape.
