Muthoot Capital Services Limited announced a leadership change in its collections function following the resignation of Sooraj Mohan as Head – Collections, effective at the close of business hours on April 23, 2026. The board approved the transition and named Vinay B N as the new Head – Collections and Recoveries, with effect from April 24, 2026.
Sooraj Mohan’s departure comes as the company turns a page in its approach to asset recovery and collections. In his farewell letter, he cites personal reasons and growth opportunities as guiding factors, while pledging a smooth handover to ensure continuity.
Vinay B N brings more than two decades of experience in collections and recoveries, with expertise across automotive finance sales and distribution strategies. Previously, he served as the Zonal Collection Head for the Eastern Region at Toyota Financial Services India Limited, the captive finance arm of Toyota Kirloskar Motors, positioning him to lead MCSL’s collections strategy in a more integrated manner.
Muthoot Capital’s leadership shift signals a continuing focus on strengthening risk management and recovery performance amid a dynamic lending environment.
