In a move designed to ensure continued strategic direction for HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited, the board has approved the re-appointment of Vibha Padalkar as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a five-year term commencing September 12, 2026. The decision, taken at a board meeting on April 21, 2026, was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholders’ approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting and regulatory clearances from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
