Timken India Limited has announced a leadership reshuffle, signaling a shift in its senior management lineup. The company said Srinivasan Sarangapani, currently Senior General Manager – India SCM & Global Sourcing, will cease to be part of the Senior Management as he moves to a global role within Timken, effective 1 May 2026. Avishrant Keshava, General Manager–Special Projects, will also cease to be part of Senior Management following his resignation, with his last day as of 30 April 2026. The company noted that a resignation letter from Mr. Keshava is on record.
Sarangapani’s transition to a global role reflects Timken’s emphasis on cross-border leadership alignment as supply chain and sourcing responsibilities begin to weave more tightly into the global Timken network. The move provides continuity for Timken India’s SCM and Global Sourcing functions while expanding his remit beyond the local unit.
Avishrant Keshava’s exit from the Senior Management cadre marks a notable change in the leadership of the Special Projects function. While the company has not disclosed the next steps for the role, the development underscores Timken India’s ongoing refresh of its project portfolio management and execution capabilities.
Together, the shifts signal Timken India’s readiness to recalibrate leadership to support its growth trajectory, balancing internal mobility with external expectations as it navigates a dynamic market. The company has not named a successor yet, but the broader tone from Bangalore-based Timken India suggests a continued focus on strengthening its operational backbone through targeted leadership moves.
