Prism Johnson Limited has named Sanjaykumar Shivajee Roy as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (RMC), effective March 2, 2026, for a three-year term. The appointment as a Whole-time Director designated as Executive Director & CEO (RMC) follows shareholders’ approval by postal ballot concluded in April 2025. The leadership move signals Prism Johnson’s push to strengthen its Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) business under a seasoned industry veteran at the helm.
Roy, 57, brings more than three decades of experience in the Ready Mix Concrete and broader construction sector. He holds a BE in Civil Engineering from Pune University and an MBA in Marketing Management from Corporate Executive Board, UK. He has previously led the concrete business at ACC Limited, part of the Adani Group, where his last role was Chief Executive – Concrete Business. Before joining Prism Johnson, he served as Head of Concrete Business at Aparna RMC, and he joined Prism Johnson as CEO (RMC) – Designate on March 24, 2025, stepping into a broader leadership role over the ensuing period.
During his career, Roy has overseen turnarounds and growth across strategic markets, steering functions such as business development, strategic planning, capex and project management, profit-centre and key-account management, and cost-saving initiatives. His rise at Prism Johnson has been marked by leadership of the RMC agenda, positioning the company for a more integrated approach to its concrete business and related operations.
The company notes that Roy is not related to any directors and is not debarred from holding office. With a track record of driving value in the construction materials space, Prism Johnson is positioning Roy to lead the next phase of its growth in the RMC segment.
