IRCTC names internal leadership reshuffle across IT, PR and HR portfolios

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited has announced a change in senior management, effective March 6, 2026, as part of an internal redistribution of work and reassigned responsibilities among existing officers. The moves highlight IRCTC’s effort to realign leadership to match evolving priorities across its catering, IT and human resources functions.

Naveen Dixit, currently GGM/Mobile Catering Services, will be posted as GGM/IT Projects, signaling a sharpened focus on information technology initiatives within the organisation’s catering ecosystem. Rashmi Gautam, presently GGM/Static Catering Services, has been redesignated as GGM/Static Catering Services & PR, underscoring a dual emphasis on service delivery and public relations. Anil Gupta, GM/HR, has been entrusted with the additional charge of GGM/Mobile Catering Services in addition to his existing HR duties and the charge of GGM/EZ, reflecting an integrated approach to human resources and regional operations.

These internal shifts reflect a broader intent to streamline leadership responsibilities while maintaining continuity in operations and external communications. By recalibrating portfolios among experienced internal leaders, IRCTC appears to be reinforcing its strategic priorities in IT-enabled services, public-facing communications and people management, all aimed at sustaining service excellence for passengers and stakeholders.

For observers of leadership movements, the announcement signals a steady hand at the helm—leaders already steeped in IRCTC’s ways stepping into roles that align with both operational demands and the organisation’s broader digital and reputational ambitions.
